• I already have a permanent makeup that I am not satisfied with. What now?

In the case of an existing PMU, I must first see it by means of a good photo or in an initial on-site consultation, in order to be able to say what the various options for improvement are. Unfortunately, however, a correction is not always possible. In these cases, I advise a laser treatment to remove the old pigmentation and then rebuild the brow.

  • When would you advise against pigmentation or when is the treatment not feasible?

You can find a detailed list of all contraindications here.

  • What do I need to consider before pigmentation?

You can find out how best to prepare for the individual treatments under the menu item Pre Care

  • How long does permanent make-up last?

This cannot be said as a general rule, as it varies depending on the skin type and the intensity of UV radiation. Daylight and too many sunbaths or solarium sessions, for example, cause the pigmentation to fade more quickly. One should also be careful with chemical peelings, which are nowadays also found more and more often in skin creams (BHA, Retinol, ...). For a longer shelf life, for example, the daily application of a high light protection factor can provide. Of course, you always have the option to have your permanent makeup refreshed or partially redone.

  • What is the procedure for a permanent makeup treatment?

Before each treatment appointment, there is first of all a detailed consultation, in which we clarify what exactly you have in mind and whether this is feasible, since not every method is suitable for every skin type. After the method has been clarified, we use my color charts to select a suitable color for you. After that, a measurement of your face is made to determine the most optimal shape. In addition to the measurement, I always take into account aspects such as facial expressions, the nature and the desired look. Only when you are 100% satisfied with the preliminary drawing do we start with the treatment.

  • I am very sensitive to pain. Is there an anesthetic?

For patients who are very sensitive to pain, all areas can be anesthetized during the treatment so that it is comfortable for you.

  • What is the difference between the various eyebrow methods?

You can find a detailed description of the individual treatment options under the menu item Treatments.

  • How can I imagine the healing process and the result?

Immediately after the treatment, the treated area is sometimes still a little red and can be a little tense, but this should be better the next day. The PMU looks darker directly after the treatment and also in the first few days than it will eventually look, which is why you need to have a little patience. A PMU is not just a quick treatment. It is a process that requires patience. Within the first few days, a slight crust may form, which is responsible for the "darkening" and will dissolve after about 7-10 days. After that, your PMU will appear much lighter and also softer. In the course of the healing process (4-6 weeks), the color will darken again a bit. You will receive from me both the care, as well as the care instructions, directly after the treatment with home.

  • Is there anything special I need to take care of afterwards?

The care at home accounts for one third of the treatment success, so please pay very conscientious attention to the care instructions that I will give you after your appointment. For hygienic reasons, the pigmented skin areas should not come into contact with water, cosmetic products or sweat (no sports) for at least one week after the treatment and should not be exposed to sunlight (including solarium). The success of the treatment depends on internal, external and human factors such as: Skin condition and quality, post-treatment and care, as well as various external factors.

  • Is it possible to have an allergic reaction to the colors?

I work exclusively with high quality colors that are subject to the current regulations (REACH regulation) and are vegan or vegan friendly. Each of my colors has a SDS (Safety data sheet), which shows exactly what and in what concentration is contained in the paint.
